Collective Transportation App for University Students
Overview
As the UI/UX Designer for Rebat, a collective transportation app aimed at providing affordable and efficient travel options for university students, I was responsible for designing the entire user experience and interface from scratch. The goal was to create an intuitive, student-friendly app that simplified commuting and made transportation more accessible at an affordable price.

1. Designing the User Experience from the Ground Up
Developed a user-centered design that addressed the unique needs of university students, focusing on simplicity and ease of use.
Crafted the information architecture of the app, designing an intuitive flow that allowed students to book rides, track their trips, and manage payments effortlessly.
Designed interactive wireframes and prototypes to visualize the user journey and ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.
2. User Interface Design
Created a clean and modern interface that aligned with the target audience's preferences, combining vibrant colors with minimalistic design.
Designed screens for key features, such as ride booking, payment processing, trip tracking, and driver ratings, all while keeping the app’s interface clutter-free and easy to navigate.
Focused on mobile-first design to ensure the app provided a smooth experience on smartphones, with a particular focus on quick load times and accessibility.
3. Brand Identity and Visual Design
Developed the Rebat logo and visual identity, ensuring that the design felt youthful and dynamic, while still conveying trustworthiness and reliability.
Created branding guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all platforms, including the app, marketing materials, and social media.
Designed promotional assets and banners to raise awareness among students and encourage app adoption.
4. Streamlining the Ride Booking Process
Designed an efficient ride-matching system that connected students with nearby drivers quickly, making it easy for them to schedule rides at affordable rates.
Integrated ride tracking features, allowing students to track the driver’s location in real time, ensuring a sense of safety and convenience.
Created an in-app payment system that supported multiple payment methods, making transactions seamless and secure for users.
5. Testing and Iteration
Conducted user testing with students to gather valuable feedback and refine the app’s design based on real-world usage.
Continuously iterated on the design based on feedback, optimizing key flows such as ride bookings, driver matching, and payment processing to minimize friction.
